Multi Crop Planter
It is a tractor mounted implement and consists of seed & fertilizer hopper, seed metering plate, chain drive system, seed tubes, ground wheel, furrow opener, ground wheel tension spring, The seed-metering device is of inclined plate type and has cells on its periphery. The seed metering mechanism receives power from the ground wheel. During operation, the cells of inclined plate pick up one or two seeds and drop it on the top/side of the ridge through a seed tube.
